It has a well-balanced cooling system and an optimized fin system that provides silent performance with cooling power similar to many all-in-one liquid cooling systems.

The C40 PRO heatsink is compatible with the latest high-performance processors and squeezes the most out of your CPU thanks to its cooling power; it is designed to provide exceptional performance and keep your processor at optimal temperatures, even under the most demanding conditions. With its dual-tower design, two 140mm FDB fans, and CDC (Continuous Direct Contact) technology, it is capable of supporting 290W TDP.
CDC (Continuous Direct Contact) technology allows for maximum direct contact with the processor to transfer heat to the heatsink for maximum cooling capacity.
Silent fans with fluid dynamic bearings
Two thermally regulated (PWM) 140mm high-performance fans with fluid dynamic bearings (FDB) that generate 95.5 CFM of airflow with very quiet operation.
With FDB technology, when the fan shaft rotates, high-pressure oil moves along the grooves of the bearing sleeve to generate a thin layer of lubrication. As the rotational speed increases, so does the dynamic oil pressure, allowing for smooth and effortless rotation.
The high-performance fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) fans are designed so that the lubrication of the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration, thereby reducing total power consumption and making them extremely reliable and durable.
Exceptional thermal performance
The C40 PRO has exceptional thermal performance as it features a nickel-plated copper base manufactured with CDC (Continuous Direct Contact) technology for optimal contact and to transfer all heat through its 6-heatpipe system to the two towers of high-density aluminum fins, which, with the 95.5 CFM airflow generated by its two 140mm fans, dissipate the heat, keeping your equipment at the ideal temperature even under maximum load conditions.
