StarTech.com 13SP-PRIVACY-SCREEN 33 cm monitor filter

Prevent snooping by limiting the viewing angle of your Surface Pro screen.

This privacy screen for 13-inch Surface Pro 8, 9, X, and 11 models smoothly transitions from a clear view to a darkened screen beyond the intended viewing angle, significantly improving visual privacy in office or public environments. The matte anti-glare finish helps reduce reflections in environments prone to glare and provides additional screen protection with a scratch- and fingerprint-resistant coating.

4-Way Privacy and Touch Compatibility

The security filter ensures optimal privacy in portrait or landscape orientations when viewed from more than 30° off-center, covering a total visible area of 60°. It is compatible with touch input and gestures, preserving the interactive experience of a Surface Pro laptop while maintaining the confidentiality of on-screen content.

Installation

The screen protector is compatible with 13" Surface Pro 8, 9, X, and 11 models and features a precise fit that does not interfere with the screen, camera, or speakers. The included installation kit and step-by-step instructions allow for a single-application onto the computer screen.

Blue Light Reduction

This blue light-reducing privacy protector reduces eye strain and improves visual comfort by blocking between 40% and 51% of the blue light emitted by the screen (in the 380 nm - 480 nm wavelength range). Symptoms of digital eye strain, such as headaches, dry eyes, and blurred vision, can be alleviated by using privacy screens with a blue light filter.
