StarTech.com 156G-PRIVACY-SCREEN monitor privacy filter 39.6 cm

Prevent prying eyes by limiting your laptop screen's viewing angle

This laptop privacy screen features a universal design that is compatible with 15.6-inch laptop screens with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Gold Privacy Filters have a reflective surface that instantly switches from a clear view to a mirror effect outside the intended viewing angle, significantly improving visual privacy when working in an office or public environment.

Prevent Prying Eyes

The gold security filter is a practical solution that features a quick change to a mirror effect to protect confidential data from unwanted viewers while maintaining a clear 60-degree view (+/- 30 degrees from center) for the user.

Reversible Filter

The removable and reversible design of the privacy filter allows users to effortlessly switch between a glossy gold side for maximum privacy and a matte anti-glare side for environments prone to glare. The matte side provides additional screen protection with a scratch and fingerprint-resistant coating.

Hassle-Free Installation

The universal design will not interfere with top-mounted webcams, sensors, or closing the lid. The privacy filter can be installed in two different ways. Attach the privacy protector to bezel-less screens using the clear, residue-free adhesive strips. Alternatively, use the slide-mount tabs to install the privacy screen on screens with bezels. The latter is recommended when the screen needs to be reversed or removed frequently.

Blue Light Reduction

Reduce eye strain and improve visual comfort with this privacy screen that reduces blue light. It blocks 40% - 51% of the blue light emitted by the screen in the 380nm - 480nm wavelength range. Digital eye strain can lead to symptoms such as headaches, dry eyes, and blurred vision.
