StarTech.com 156L-PRIVACY-SCREEN monitor privacy filter 39.6 cm

Prevent prying eyes by limiting the viewing angles of your computer screen

The laptop privacy screen features a universal design compatible with 15.6" screens and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The anti-glare design provides visual comfort while reducing the adverse effects of blue light emitted by the screen. Its reversible design allows it to quickly adapt to different lighting conditions throughout the day.

Prevent Prying Eyes

This privacy filter is a convenient and cost-effective solution for protecting confidential data from unwanted looks. The privacy shield darkens your computer screen from the side while providing a clear 60-degree viewing angle (+/- 30 degrees from center) to the user.

Reversible Filter

The privacy screen protector is reversible, with a matte anti-glare side for glare-prone environments and a high-gloss side that helps preserve color vibrancy. The matte side provides additional screen protection with a coating resistant to fingerprints and scratches. The privacy shield has a light transmittance of 57.5%, providing optimal screen brightness and enhanced privacy levels.

Hassle-Free Installation

Attach the privacy screen protector using the provided residue-free transparent adhesive strips or the side mounting tabs. The cutout in the top corner of the privacy screen facilitates its removal for sharing content with trusted audiences or to switch between matte and glossy finishes.

Blue Light Reduction

Reduce eye strain and improve visual comfort with this privacy screen that reduces blue light. It blocks up to 51% of the blue light emitted by the screen in the 380 nm - 480 nm wavelength range. Digital eye strain can cause symptoms such as headaches, dry eyes, and blurred vision.
