The 30 cm (1 ft.) null modem USB serial adapter adds an RS-232 DB/DE-9 (female) serial connector to a desktop or laptop computer via a USB Type-A port. Secure the adapter to a serial device using the pre-installed, removable DB-9 nuts, or install the included slotted D-Sub thumbscrews for compatibility with other peripherals or serial cables.LED Indicators

The adapter's data transmit and receive LED indicators provide real-time monitoring of port activity. The USB LED indicates when the adapter has successfully enumerated with the desktop or laptop computer. All LEDs assist in diagnostics and troubleshooting.Hassle-Free Connectivity

The adapter is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, and Linux. Drivers install automatically for Windows 7 and later, macOS 10.15 and later, and Linux.
