StarTech.com CDP2VGASA USB graphics adapter 2048 x 1280 Black

Connect your USB-C equipped computer to a VGA monitor or projector

This isn't your average video adapter. Yes, it lets you connect the USB-C™ port on your computer to a VGA monitor or projector, but it also features a unique presentation mode switch. When you toggle this switch, the adapter prevents your computer from initiating its screensaver, sleep mode, or power-saving mode. The adapter ensures your screen always stays on, making it the perfect video adapter for any presentation or meeting.

Keep your audience engaged during presentations

When you're delivering a presentation, the goal is to have your audience focused on your presentation, not your computer. If you don't move your mouse frequently enough, or have your power settings configured, your screen can go black in the middle of a speech, which can be very distracting when you're trying to focus on the message you're communicating.

This adapter avoids screen interruptions with its presentation mode, a unique feature that automatically initiates occasional cursor movements to keep your computer's power settings from interrupting your presentation. It’s the perfect solution for sharing websites, drawings, spreadsheets, PDFs, or slideshows during a meeting.

Toggle presentation mode on or off

You can enable or disable presentation mode depending on your application. Turn it on when you're in the boardroom and need your display to stay on, or turn it off when you're using the adapter at your desk or workstation so your computer's default power settings can take over. The switch is easy to use and saves you the hassle of constantly adjusting your operating system's settings.

Hassle-free setup and operation on Mac and PC

To ensure easy installation and operation, this unique adapter supports native plug-and-play installation on Windows® and Mac computers. The adapter is easy to connect, thanks to the versatile USB Type-C™ port on your computer. The reversible USB-C connector means it will always plug in correctly the first time, saving you the hassle and distraction of struggling to connect your laptop to a display or projector.

Crystal-clear picture quality

The adapter supports video resolutions up to 1920x1200 or 1080p. You’ll be surprised by the picture quality the adapter provides, even when connected to legacy VGA projectors or televisions. The adapter leverages the video capabilities built into your USB Type-C connection to deliver every detail in stunning, high-resolution quality.
