The 3-meter DisplayPort™ 1.2 cable, model DISPL3M, with latches that provide a secure connection between DisplayPort-equipped devices, has higher performance than HDMI® or dual-link DVI.

This DisplayPort cable supports high-definition resolutions of up to 4k x 2k (4096 x 2160) at 60 Hz, with a maximum HBR2 bandwidth of 21.6 Gbps. It also supports MST ("Multi-Stream") for daisy-chaining multiple monitors, as well as optional audio support.
