StarTech.com DP2VGAA video cable adapter 0.184 m Black

Connect your computer to a VGA display with separate 3.5mm audio output

This unique DisplayPort™ to VGA adapter features an integrated audio port that allows you to connect DisplayPort-equipped devices, such as an HP® EliteBook Folio 9470m laptop, to a VGA display or projector with audio.

Share your presentations and videos

Since most boardrooms have different configurations, available cable lengths can vary. Not all laptops have their DisplayPort (DP) and audio ports located on the same side, which can be inconvenient when giving presentations. It also means that some ports may be out of reach during a meeting.

This handy adapter lets you place your audio and video ports on the same side of your laptop for easy access when you need them.

Replacement for a damaged audio port

If your mobile device’s audio port is damaged or blocked by other connections, this handy adapter ensures you have all the ports you need for every presentation. By connecting audio to your computer through the adapter, you are prepared for any situation.

To use the adapter's audio function, it must be powered through your laptop's USB port or a USB charging port. Simply connect a Micro USB cable from the adapter to a USB port to ensure audio is available when you present.

Create a tidy environment, free of cable clutter

The adapter can also be used to connect your laptop or desktop computer to your monitor and speakers. The adapter and connected cables can be left neatly at the back of the monitor so all your devices are organized.

Arrive with all your devices ready wherever you go

This DisplayPort to VGA adapter is extremely portable thanks to its compact, lightweight design. It is the ideal accessory for your mobile devices, as it can be easily carried in your laptop bag or any other case. Its ultra-portable design is ideal for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environments.

It also allows you to always be prepared when presenting to a potential client, going out to teach, or traveling to meet with a client.
