This fiber-optic PoE SFP media converter offers an easy, cost-effective way to extend your network and power your devices in remote locations via fiber optics, using the SFP of your choice. It combines the data connectivity of a media converter with the flexible power supply capabilities of a PoE injector. It converts a fiber-optic network link to a PoE-enabled RJ45 copper Ethernet connection to provide data and power to remote PoE devices, such as security cameras, sensors, wireless devices, lights, and many others. The converter is a powerful networking solution for academic campuses, warehouses, factories, or other environments that require PoE and connectivity over long distances. Designed for small spaces and harsh environments, this mini media converter measures 29cm² and weighs approximately 80 grams, so it can be installed almost anywhere it is needed, and it has been designed to operate in environments with wide temperature fluctuations.
