The Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, model MDP2HD4KS, allows you to connect an mDP-equipped Ultrabook™, tablet, or laptop (such as the ThinkPad T440 series) to an HDMI display. This adapter is compatible with Mini DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 4K at 30 Hz, and therefore supports video resolutions up to 4K (Ultra HD), as well as the corresponding digital audio with up to 7.1 channels of surround sound.
