Connect to a 25/40Gbps network switch or device using this Snagless S/FTP Category 8 Ethernet cable. The maximum frequency of 2000MHz allows for performance up to four times higher than Cat6a.

Pure Copper Wire

Our snagless Cat8 cables are designed for long-lasting performance. The 4-pair foil-shielded twisted-pair (S/FTP) construction uses 26AWG pure copper wire to improve conductivity and reduce resistance, ensuring reliable transmission and minimal signal loss.

Pure copper wiring delivers consistent performance characteristics across different environments. Each pair is shielded with aluminum mylar foil and tinned copper braiding to improve protection against EMI.

Durable Construction

The Cat8 Ethernet cable features 50-micron gold-plated snagless connectors that allow for a precise fit to minimize wear and are rated for over 750 connector mating cycles. The flexible LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flame-retardant jacket emits low smoke and toxic gases when exposed to extreme heat or in the event of a fire. This allows for safer installations in poorly ventilated areas, including some industrial environments, autonomous environments such as trains and airplanes, as well as residential settings where building code compliance must be taken into account.

The cable is rated to withstand -/+90 degree bends and deploys well in tight spaces.

Versatile and Reliable

The shielded Cat8 patch cable is ideal for high-density 25/40GBASE-T networks and supports up to 100W output for Power over Ethernet (PoE++) devices. It establishes connectivity with 25G/40G switches, Network Attached Storage (NAS), Storage Area Networks (SAN), and SFP modules. It facilitates reliable flow and power to critical, low-latency PoE devices, including PoE switches, access points, and IP cameras.

Backward compatibility with Cat 6/6a and Cat 5/5e standards ensures seamless integration into existing network environments. Our Snagless Cat8 cables have been Fluke-tested to ensure Cat8 performance.
