Pure Copper Wire

Our snagless Cat8 cables are designed for long-lasting performance. The 4-pair shielded, foil twisted-pair (S/FTP) construction uses 26AWG pure copper wire to improve conductivity and reduce resistance, ensuring reliable transmission and minimal signal loss.

Pure copper cabling delivers consistent performance characteristics across various environments. Each pair is shielded with aluminum mylar foil and a tinned copper braid to improve EMI protection.

Durable Construction

The Cat8 Ethernet cable features 50-micron gold-plated, snagless connectors that allow for a precise fit to minimize wear and are rated for over 750 connector mating cycles. The flexible LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flame-retardant jacket emits low smoke and toxic gases when exposed to extreme heat or in the event of a fire. This allows for safer installations in poorly ventilated areas, including some industrial settings, standalone environments such as trains and aircraft, as well as residential environments where building code compliance must be considered.

The cable is rated to withstand +/- 90-degree bends and routes well in tight spaces.

Versatile and Reliable

The shielded Cat8 patch cable is ideal for high-density 25/40GBASE-T networks and supports up to 100W output for Power over Ethernet (PoE++) devices. It establishes connectivity with 25G/40G switches, Network Attached Storage (NAS), Storage Area Networks (SAN), and SFP modules. It facilitates reliable flow and power to critical, low-latency PoE devices, including PoE switches, access points, and IP cameras.
