Single-Bay Hard Drive Eraser, Standalone HDD/SSD Sanitizer, 4Kn, USB 3.0 to SATA
This hard drive eraser lets you erase a SATA solid-state drive (SSD) or hard drive (HDD) without having to connect to a host computer. It supports 2.5" and 3.5" drives and is compatible with SATA I, II, and III, as well as high-capacity drives, including 4Kn drives.
Sanitize Your Drives with Confidence
You can rest easy when using this eraser to retire, reuse, or repurpose a drive. No data will remain on the drive and nothing will be accessible with data recovery software.
The SSD and HDD eraser supports nine erase modes to support a wide variety of security requirements, including:
- Quick Erase

- Single and Multi-Pass Overwrite

- Secure Erase
- Enhanced Secure Erase
This drive eraser ensures data purging (a secure erase) which is required for government agencies and organizations that have strict data erasure guidelines. Purging is a highly secure method of erasing data from your storage device that complies with the NIST 800-88 Rev. 1 media sanitization standard established by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Monitor Erase Status and Keep Records
The hard drive eraser can connect to an RS232 serial printer to print a record of the erasure procedure. The log shows the time and date of the erase, as well as the erase mode used.
The LCD screen also allows you to monitor performance and the completion of the erase.
Back Up Your Data Before Erasing the Drive
The eraser can be used as a SATA dock when connected to a USB 3.0 computer. It supports data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps.
