The Vertiv Geist VP7U21A0 switched rack PDU is a 16/20A, 120V/208V/230V, 1U horizontal-mount power distribution unit with input power monitoring and outlet-level switching. It features (12) combination C13/C19 outlets, a C20 input, and 1.9kW/3.3kW/3.6kW power capacity. This device allows you to remotely turn off output outlets to prevent accidental overloads and power-cycle equipment to reboot unresponsive critical IT equipment. It is integrated into the next-generation Vertiv Geist IMD, which displays power data through its high-visibility 128x128 LCD touchscreen. The touch display interface allows users to manage their rack PDU without needing a network connection. This includes a redundant power distribution port that connects two IMDs in the rack and provides backup power in case of power outages. Security is enhanced through a secure boot system built into the device to ensure that data and operations are protected. The units are dual-certified (UL/CE) and individually tested for functionality and reliability.
